Connecting Students With Mentors
Breakfast of Champions Program
Clay County Community for Students, Inc. (CCCFS) started an enrichment opportunity called Breakfast of Champions in partnership with Hayesville Elementary, Hayesville Middle, Hayesville High School and Clay Schools’ School Nutrition Department.
Breakfast of Champions program pairs elementary, middle and high school students with similar interest such as sports, music etc. The students meet once a week on Thursday, in the school cafeteria to have the opportunity to share similar interests and discuss while they eat breakfast.
Support from schools, families and communities are necessary in our mission of striving for excellence here at Clay County Schools.
Lunch with a Mentor
Mentors meet once a week to have lunch with students giving the students an opportunity to have a caring adult in their lives.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor or to make a request to have a student added to one of our programs, please contact Karen Dudley, CCCFS Site Coordinator at 828-389-8586 ext. 1217
